About this Privacy Policy This Privacy Policy has been published to provide a clear and concise outline of how and when Personal Information is collected, disclosed, used, stored and otherwise handled by Videoship Enterprise Limited (“INet.Live”). By using INet.Live’s websites, products or services, including the INet.Live Platform and INet.Live Mobile Application (collectively, the “Services”), you consent to INet.Live using your Personal Information as set out in this Privacy Policy.
INet.Live treats the handling of your Personal Information very seriously. To that end, INet.Live has systems and procedures in place to protect your privacy in relation to the handling of your Personal Information. INet.Live abides by applicable laws in relation to the collection, disclosure, use and storage of Personal Information. INet.Live’s objective is to handle information responsibly and provide you with some control over the way information about you is handled. Where applicable, INet.Live may rely on exemptions under relevant laws notwithstanding this Privacy Policy. For example, in some cases there may be exemptions in relation to business contact information, such as an individual’s name, position or title, business telephone number, business address, business email address or fax number.
1. Collection of Personal Information
Personal Information is any information about an identifiable individual. The nature of Personal Information collected by INet.Live depends on how you use the Services. If you register for a INet.Live account, INet.Live will collect your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, and region (location) as well as information about your transactions with INet.Live or using its services. If you sell content using the Services, INet.Live will also request your PayPal account information in order to deposit money from content sales into your account.
The primary purpose for collecting such information is to administer INet.Live’s online platform for the exchange of content and provide you with requested products and services. INet.Live requires your location to show other users where your content is coming from.
INet.Live may collect Personal Information from you in a number of ways. These include, but are not limited to, situations in which you set up an account with a company within INet.Live, request to receive products or services from INet.Live, provide products or services to INet.Live, utilize INet.Live’s services (including, but not limited to INet.Live’s
online platform for the exchange of content, its websites, mobile phone apps, blogs and online forums), complete a survey or questionnaire, or when you communicate with INet.Live by telephone, fax, writing, email, or any other electronic means.
When you are using a service we provide to you over the internet (for example INet.Live’s online platform for the exchange of content or our website), we may use technologies to collect information as to your activities on such services associated with INet.Live including your IP Address and/or the type of operating system you use and/or the domain name of your Internet Service Provider, software and hardware attributes and the web-page you request. In addition, INet.Live may set and access their cookies and other similar technologies (not constituting Personal Information) on your computer or other internet-enabled device and may let other companies (such as third party advertisers) set and access their cookies on your computer (subject to their own policies). The use of cookies helps us to recognize you, improve and personalize your experience of our products and services, measure your use of our products and services and show you relevant advertising. If you do not wish for information to be collected through the use of cookies, you can disable, remove or block the use of cookies in your internet browser.
Whilst INet.Live will attempt to ensure all transfer of data to a third party and use by a third party is secure, INet.Live cannot be held responsible for the theft of data by a third party, or the consequences resulting from the loss of data where that loss is associated with the technical malfunction, tampering by a third party, viruses, computer bugs, or any action or event beyond the reasonable control of INet.Live.
INet.Live may also request other types of Personal Information from time to time, and will inform you upon collecting such information of the purpose for which it is being collected.
INet.Live does not collect Personal Information unless it is reasonably necessary for INet.Live to perform one or more of its functions and activities or supply one or more of its services. On occasion, some of this Personal Information may be sensitive and INet.Live will only collect it with your consent or when required or authorized to by law.
INet.Live or its agents will generally collect Personal Information from you directly. For example, INet.Live may collect Personal Information when you become a member of INet.Live’s online platform for the exchange of content, make a purchase, or enter an agreement.
You may choose to deal with INet.Live anonymously or under a pseudonym where lawful and practicable (i.e. provided we are still able to provide the relevant service or do business with you without that information). For example, it might not be practical to deal with you
anonymously if we need to process a payment, delivery goods or services or send personalized communications to you.
2.Use & Disclosure of Personal Information
INet.Live takes all reasonably practical steps to keep such information strictly confidential.
INet.Live may use and disclose your Personal Information for the purpose for which it was initially collected, namely to administer INet.Live’s online platform for the exchange of content (including facilitating your purchase or sale of content via the INet.Live exchange) and provide you with requested products and services (and renewals thereof), as well as all purposes necessary and incidental to the provision of goods or services by INet.Live or by anyone on behalf of INet.Live.
When you are a Seller of content on the INet.Live http://www.inet.live/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/iNet.Live_TOS.pdfexchange, you will be asked to provide your business contact details so that a potential Buyer of your content can contact you for further information about the content. In addition, any bio or profile material you choose to post on the INet.Live exchange, such as your company logo or links to websites and social media sites, along with your content will also be available to potential Buyers of that content.
If you are using the INet.Live Mobile Application, you will be required to permit the App to have access to the camera functionality on your mobile device in order to allow you to capture content using the App. You will have the option of turning on other mobile device functionality, such as permitted location services to tag the location of video content that is published.
In addition, INet.Live may use and disclose your Personal Information for purposes related to the initial purpose of collection if that other purpose would be within your reasonable expectations. Related purposes include analyzing your Personal Information for the purpose of identifying and referring you to products and services that may be of benefit or interest to you, displaying targeted advertising based on those interests, improving our services, conducting research, contacting you, internal auditing and administration, or assisting INet.Live to carry out auditing, administration, or product enhancement. Without limiting the foregoing, your Personal Information may be used to create an anonymous link to additional third party data (for example the data of our business partners) for the purpose of tailoring information you may be more interested in, and that link may be placed in cookies for the purpose of INet.Live and its business partners sending you targeted advertising when you use websites or other services over the internet, including those supplied to you by INet.Live as well as by third parties unaffiliated with INet.Live.
Additionally, in the event of a re-organization, merger or sale, INet.Live may transfer any and all Personal Information we have collected from you to the relevant third party. INet.Live may also be required to disclose your Personal Information without your consent if the disclosure is:
1.required or authorized by law;
2.required in order to investigate an unlawful activity;
3.required by an enforcement body for investigative activities; or
4.necessary to prevent a serious and imminent threat to a person’s life, health orsafety, or to public health or safety.
Like most business organizations, INet.Live relies on third party suppliers and service providers to conduct some functions such as infrastructure services, cloud computing services, admin and billing services, technical support services, website management, mail out services, data analysis and processing services, insurance broking, supply of equipment and financial services.
Whilst Personal Information may be provided to these suppliers and service providers in order to enable them to perform the agreed tasks, INet.Live will make every effort to ensure that the supplier handles the Personal Information in accordance with appropriate privacy and confidentiality principles. INet.Live will require all such suppliers to provide privacy undertakings and enter confidentiality agreements.
3.Electronic marketing
From time to time INet.Live may use your Personal Information to identify programs, products and services that may be of interest to you. INet.Live may use your Personal Information to send you information regarding INet.Live’s products and services, and those available through INet.Live’s business partners.
If you do not wish to receive electronic marketing information from INet.Live as outlined in this section, please let INet.Live know by using the unsubscribe function in the communication you receive, or alternatively by contacting the Privacy Officer. INet.Live will take immediate steps to ensure that you do not receive any such direct marketing information in future.
4.Personal Information Quality
INet.Live’s objective is to ensure that all Personal Information collected by INet.Live is accurate, complete and up to date. To assist INet.Live in achieving its objective, please contact the Privacy Officer if any of your details change. Further, if you believe that the
information INet.Live holds is not accurate, complete or up-to-date, please contact the Privacy Officer in order to have the information corrected.
5.Personal Information Security
INet.Live is committed to keeping your Personal Information secure, and we will take reasonable precautions to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, loss, release, misuse or alteration.
Your Personal Information may be stored in hard copy documents, but is generally stored electronically on INet.Live’s and its service providers’ software or systems. INet.Live maintains physical security over its paper and electronic data stores, such as locks and security systems. INet.Live also uses computer and network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion prevention software, antivirus software, external email filtering and passwords to control and restrict access to authorized staff for approved purposes and to secure Personal Information from unauthorized access, modification, disclosure, misuse and loss.
Whilst INet.Live takes all reasonable steps to secure your Personal Information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access, you acknowledge that all activities in which you intentionally or unintentionally supply information to INet.Live carries an inherent risk of loss of, misuse of, or unauthorized access to such information. INet.Live cannot be held responsible for such actions where the security of the Personal Information is not within the control of INet.Live, or where INet.Live cannot reasonably prevent such incident.
INet.Live stores its data, including Personal Information, on servers located in Canada and the United States. Accordingly, by using the Services you consent to the transfer of your Personal Information to those jurisdictions and you agree that your Personal Information may become available to law enforcement or other government agencies in those countries under the laws of those countries. INet.Live will use its reasonable endeavours to ensure that any foreign entity to which your Personal Information is transferred (for example our primary service provider in Canada) has appropriate measures in place to protect your Personal Information.
6.Access To Personal Information
You may request access to the Personal Information INet.Live holds about you. The procedure for gaining access is as follows:
1.All requests for access to your Personal Information must be made in writing andaddressed to the Privacy Officer.
2.You must provide as much detail as possible regarding the business entity,department or person to whom you believe your Personal Information has beenprovided, and when. This will allow INet.Live to process your request efficiently.
3.INet.Live will acknowledge your request within 14 days, and access will usually begranted within 14 days, or if it is more complicated, 30 days. INet.Live will inform youif this timeframe is not achievable.
4.You will be asked to verify your identity.
5.A fee may apply to such access where lawful in the event that a request for accessis onerous or time consuming. Such a fee will cover staff costs involved in locatingand collating information, and reproduction costs and INet.Live will inform you ofsuch fee before proceeding with processing the request.
6.Depending on the circumstances, you may be forwarded the information by mail oremail, or you may be given the opportunity to personally inspect your records at theappropriate place.
7.You will be given the opportunity to correct any Personal Information that is nolonger accurate.
In some circumstances, INet.Live may be permitted by law to deny access. If INet.Live denies access to your Personal Information, it will provide you with reasons in writing.
7.Changes To This Policy
INet.Live may, without notice, change this Policy from time to time for any reason and will update the Policy on our website located at https://www.inet.live/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/inetliveprivacy.pdf. We ask that you visit our website periodically in order to remain up to date with such changes.
8.Complaints
If you have any concerns about this Privacy Policy or the privacy practices of INet.Live, you are entitled to complain. All complaints should initially be in writing and directed to the Privacy Officer. INet.Live will respond to your complaint as soon as possible, within 14 working days, to let you know who is responsible for managing your query. INet.Live will try to resolve the complaint within 30 working days. When this is not possible INet.Live will contact you to provide an estimate of how long it will take to handle the complaint.
